First off , let me just clear the definition of my twitter name haha .

So , that's what panache is . Excuse me for always putting up what i dislike but, rarely putting up what I do . I've been holding out guys !

I get an issue of ELLE magazine in the mail every month and 1 of my favorite parts in the magazine is when they show 'Street Chic'. I love this part because it shows people who weren't dressed by stylists or given pre-chosen outfits. They walked out of their house looking this way and was influenced by themselves. The way I dress is taken from so much little things and I make a monster of an outfit :)

Usually , I'm not a fan of shorts that are a loud color. Since she paired the rest of the outfit with solid colors , it down played it. In the end this look came out pretty great. I likeee .

All black everything ! And she's keeping cool in the linen romper. The dog gives the outfit a nice touch so she doesn't look all that scary.

A different way to wear cargos. To dress it differently , pair it with a button up &bold accessories instead of a tee.**You can never go wrong with white nail polish ! I personally love nail polish.

I love it all . An oversized bag undertones the bright pink nail polish and flowing hair to balance out the outfit .

You guys know I hate leather leggings but , if you gonna wear them go all the way. Pair it with red lipstick , suede booties and a biker jacket. POW .

This outfit would've been perfect if she didn't make 1 popular mistake. The bag is lovely though ! I'm a sucker for big bags. Back to the mistake .. The boyfriend blazer and boyish hair cut are nice edges but, when paired with other big pieces like a big tee and jeans - you look like a dike. If she would've put on some fitted jeans , this would've been flawless.

This whole thing is perfect !! I love it and want it ALL in my closet. ** The bright colored bag makes the grey and blacks if the outfit not look dull.

The layering and accessories in this is all perfect. I have nothing else to say but "wow".


I love her funky hair, its so cute haha. The silver booties and ripped jeans make the outfit all the more edgy. The big black bag is adorable though, gimmie !

These creative little gloved hands always take a picture , and make it into something that you can't help but to love. In this case , they took the late Michael Jackson's picture and plastered the hands all over . I LOVE IT

For me , shopping is a hobby . I shop when I'm bored , lonely , happy , or just in the mood . I buy things because I want it and it makes me look good . The first thing people see when they meet you is your face and what your wearing . For some people, shopping is much more than that . They feel like its a part of life . Well in a sense , shopping is a part of life. Your always gonna need clothes ! But , clothes shouldn't define you and dictate your life.

A True Life Episode on MTV episode called : " I'm A Complusive Shopper " is what gave everybody an inside look into this problem. I dvr this every time it comes on and I've seen it about 5 times . Its my favorite True Life document .

This is 18 year old Gabby From Queens . Shopping is the way her parents showed that they loved her , so she can't stop now . She developed an unhealthy habit and it got her parents 10,000$ in debt. She maxed out both of their credit cards , in total she ended up maxxing out 3. She then gets embarrassed when her card gets declined in front of her friends . Uh oh !

Her father suggested she see a therapist and she got very defensive . She never went . To her , she doesn't have a problem . She was supposed to start paying them back but , then decided she wants to buy boobs .

In her case, It's obvious that she just has her priorities allllll FUCKEDUP . Nobody can even see her boobs cus her extentions are covering them . Nice sweater tho !

This sad case is Ali . She doesn't pay rent or pay off her funiture from Rent-A-Center because the money evaporates . She shops to keep up an image that she feels she needs to fit. She was in 15,000 something dollars in debt from her addiction. She acknowledged that she had it and started seeing a therapist.

I don't know how this girl got in so deep , she was shopping at places like Forever 21 and Wet Seal . With Gabby , she had unworn True Religion jeans hung up in her closet , tons of Juicy sweat suites, and Louis bags & A&f sweaters and Burberry scarves - okay those things aren't cheap. UGGS and PINK are pretty affordable , I don't see how you can put off paying your bills to buy those stuff. Those are average joe clothes so she must've been buying contraband when the cameras were off or something.

Her boyfriend fueld her habit by being lenient and giving her money to go shopping. In a clip , she even left in the middle of their dinner date to run to the mall before it closed. He was surprisingly cool with it. He's a punk ! A real man wuld've told her to sit her ass down , eat her chicken and go home with the same clothes she came with . Haha , okay maybe I would've done that.

Both girls decided to sell some of their clothes to thrift stores for some money. Only thing is , thrift stores gives you like 1 tenth of your money back. 100$ jeans would be sold for like 15$ , WTF ? They shoud've craig-listed it , psshh .

A real propblem with shopping addiction comes from low self asteem. Shopping is fun and makes me happy , but it doesn't make me who I am. As it shouldn't because naked we come into this world and naked we shall leave . Until that day comes tho , buy what you can afford. If you want something that bad , save up ! Don't get a credit card and start itching your neck like a crackhead , that's unhealthy . Limit yourself so that you don't write a check that your tush can't cash !

What ever void your tryna fill by over shopping is only gonna be temporary , because yours gonna feel guilty for spending so much . Then what ? The cycle repeats itself then your broke and sad /=

This light vs. Dark thing that's going on , I hope it stops soon . Its so generational I don't see that happening though . Just because girls light skinned doesn't mean we "think we cute" and being darkskinned doesn't make you any less of a person .

Lyrics like these make darker skinned girls kinda bitter sometimes , I find . My friends have no problem with this because they're all
beautiful . Why can't you guys just be comfortable in your own skin ? Society shouldn't have control over your self worth .

A really dark women on the Tyra show said "us darker skinned black women have more struggles than light skinned African Americans" . She felt as if light skinned people have an easier life that darker skinned women . Then she bought up a saying that calls light skinned person the "house slave" & darker person the "field slave" . She used this expression to say that light skinned people have had it easier "since day one" because our complexion is closer to "Massa" .
Either way , the word slave is after the complexion shade . We need to get out of that slave mentality and realize that we have more in common that we think .

Another women on the Tyra show even said that she went through extemes like pouring bleach on a hot rag and putting it on her face . She burned herself and peeled off her skin the next morning only to find a darker shade . It took her that to realize that she's pretty just the way she is .

So , whenever somebody comes up to you and gives you a compliment followed by "for a darkskin girl" say thank you .... and give them the middle finger !
